Google Parent Alphabet Q2 Result Shows 21% Quarterly Revenue Growth
Google parent Alphabet today published results for the second quarter of 2016. The Alphabet Q2 Result bring great news for them, since the company reported revenue of $21.5 billion, which for the same quarter had only $17.7 billion last year.
Alphabet Q2 result has also reported a net income of $5.9 billion for the second quarter of 2016. In the first quarter of 2016, company reported $3.6 billion in net income, which is lesser than Q2 results.
Ruth Porat, CFO of Alphabet stated,
Our terrific second quarter results, with 21% revenue growth year on year, and 25% on a constant currency basis reflect the successful investments we’ve made over many years in rapidly expanding areas such as mobile and video. We continue to invest responsibly in support of our many compelling opportunities.
